The history of FOPE is rooted in Italian goldsmith tradition, starting in 1929 when Umberto Cazzola opened an artisan workshop in Vicenza. With the same pioneering spirit, his son Odino transformed the workshop into an avant-garde factory and invented expanding watch straps, while his grandchildren Umberto and Ines created the iconic Novecento mesh and patented FOPE's Flex’it technology.
